Scope

Revista del Museo de Antropología de Entre Ríos is a print and online publication of open access that publishes an annual volume with two half-year numbers. Topics (as great fields of knowledge) include: Anthropology, Archaeology, and related disciplines that study the South-American man. The journal accepts the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English in five kinds of articles: investigation articles, review articles, bibliographical or conference reviews, notes and letters to the Editor. To submit your article, please follow the guidelines of social responsibility on scientific research and good practices on scientific research and publication.

Peer Review Policy

Contributions must be unpublished. Articles will be submitted to a process of peer review by at least two (2) external referees. The review is anonymous. Average evaluation time is 60 days.

Guideline for articles acceptance are as follows:

- Substantial contribution to the state of knowledge of the article theme.

- Strong theoretical and/or empirical basis.

- Fulfillment of ethical standards and good practices on scientific research.

 

Reviewers are selected according to their proven expertise in the article´s thematic field.

 

Rejection of an article is final and unappealable, excepting for authors that consider that there has been a violation of ethical standards in the review process. In this case, Editorial Board must be contacted by e-mail: revistadeantropologiaer@gmail.com

Directions are given to the reviewers to judge if an article follows the journal´s aims and scope. It also provides special instructions for an effective and useful review. Articles that follow the journal´s goal are those that cover topics including anthropology, archaeology and related fields of the study of South American man.

Reviewers will follow a formal standard about the novelty of the article, the state of the knowledge in the academic field, the quality of text, idiomatic resources, and the fulfillment of author guidelines. Manuscripts must have a concise goal; provide an adequate methodology; and conclusions in accordance with the information presented in the article.
